My partner and I booked this hotel for a 4 night stay and we cancelled and left after 1 night! We booked it months ago but was put in the room right next to the lift which was noisy until early hours! The room was...More
The hotel was not the swankiest, but it was clean, quiet, and friendly, all in a great location minutes from the museums and the Tube. The rooms are small but I just needed a place to sleep and shower, London beckons. Lara was a great...More
Generally agree with most of the comments here as the hotel overall needs some general attention, but also agree that Lara was incredibly professional and friendly and willing to help. Great location, but difficult to control temperature in room and card key consistently did not...More
Hotel looks a bit tired, but Lara and Virginia were very kind and helpful at the reception. The location is the best possible, just a block away from South Kensington tube station/Natural History Museum, and close to the Royal Albert Hall and Kensington Gardens. Recommended.

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

I am not sure but having looked at the map it seems that the Dominion Theatre is in Westminster and the hotel is in Kensington near The Serpentine. It would be at least a tube ride away and not within walking distance
