Detailed Reviews
I booked this hotel for a single night stay with Full Breakfast and parking. I was attending a show at the Royal Albert Hall and this hotel offered everything I needed for an overnight stay. Withn the price was included overnight secure parking and a full
Breakfast. Bed was a king size and comfortable. Tea and coffee in room. Good shower and en-suite facilities.
Breakfast was fantastic that included a full English with quality ingredients, fresh fruit, and continental breakfast meats and cheeses, with yoghurt and muesli.
I could not fault any aspect of this hotel and the price for a west London hotel was very favourable. Will book again for next year.

I’m not sure which hotel to leave a review for because I’m really not sure which I stayed in as there are two hotels on site.
We think we booked the ibis but at £158 this was very expensive (we had to pay because we needed a room short notice) and when we arrived we found that we were on the 10th floor in one of the Mercury floors of the hotel.
The room was very recently refurbished (refurbishment still going on around us) and smelt brand new. This room had everything we hope for in a hotel room, sockets with usb at each side of the bed and a powerful shower. It was very clean and spacious and the decor was lovely. There was also a very large tv with plenty of channels and lots of storage. Being on the 10th floor we also had a lovely view across London.
The common areas have recently been refurbished too and were absolutely lovely. The 1st floor restaurant looked nice and the bar areas very welcoming. There is a small cafe in the reception area too. West Brompton tube station was about five minutes walk up the road for access to the underground system.
There was only one complaint I could make about this hotel and that is that housekeeping knocked on our door at 8.45am to clean the room. That’s way too early!
£158 was a great price to pay for the room we had but I’m not sure it would’ve been for the Ibis floors. We have no idea if we paid for the Mercury or Ibis, and this could be a factor in whether we stayed here again as it would be a disappointment to get a standard ibis room for that price now.

Dear Stevie, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are pleased that you appreciated the room amenities, the cleanliness, and the decor of our recently refurbished rooms as an upgrade from Ibis to Mercure. It is delightful to hear that the large TV, the lovely view across London, and the common areas added to the comfort and enjoyment of your stay. However, we apologize for any confusion regarding your booking and the early disturbance by our housekeeping team. We understand the importance of a restful morning and appreciate your preference for a later room service. Nonetheless, we are glad that you found our location conveniently close to West Brompton tube station, and that it enhanced your experience in London. We hope we will have the opportunity to see you again in the future. Best Regards, Supriya Rai, Guest Relations Manager

Sabrina at concierge was so welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The room was lovely, and checkout was quick and easy. The location was convenient and easily accessible via rail, and outside of a slightly clogged shower drain the stay was blemish free. Would recommend to any and all! Thank you!

I booked a twin room as I was going with a friend and when I arrived they had ‘upgraded’ our room. You may think that’s lovely but after travelling to the upgraded room with all of our luggage we discovered it had a double bed! So, off I went, back down 9 floors, to explain the problem to reception. After a bit of messing around trying to find a twin room, we were eventually given one on the 8th floor… only to find the bathroom door would not stay closed! Back down again to resolve the problem! By this point I am tired and hungry after my journey there and am counting to 10 in my head… a lot!!
While we sat in reception and ate some food a maintenance person fixed the door. The lady at the desk came to tell us it was fixed if we wished to go up. That was the first set of issues. Secondly, the person on reception said that although we hadn’t booked a breakfast we could still get the discounted price in the morning if we changed our minds.. which we did.
The gentleman in the restaurant the next morning asked for full price payment and that the receptionist was wrong to say this. At this point I was fed up so just said I would leave it thank you. He then changed his mind and charged the discounted price! Not before a lecture on making sure we know for next time that it wouldn’t get discounted!!
Very little in the way of apology from any of the staff and certainly nothing offered in the way of compensation (this isn’t particularly important except for showing how little they cared)
for the inconvenience with the rooms.
I would probably not bother booking here again.

Dear Sharon, Thank you for your feedback, We are pleased that our maintenance team was responsive and able to quickly fix the bathroom door for you. However, we truly regret that the initial room allocation did not meet your booking needs. It is disappointing to hear that the alternative room still had issues, and for this, we apologize. The comfort and satisfaction of our guests are of utmost importance, and we take it seriously when we fall short of this commitment. Furthermore, we understand your frustration regarding the confusion over the breakfast pricing. It is clear that we need to ensure our communication is consistent and transparent to avoid such misunderstandings in the future. We indeed provide discounted price for breakfast if you book in advance, i.e. the day before. We are sorry that you felt the care from our staff was lacking. Please know that we value all guest feedback as it is crucial for us to continue improving our service standards. We hope to welcome you again in the future. Best wishes, Manish Dulal, Guest Relations Manager

This hotel looks very tired from the outside but once you are through the door, it is clean, bright, fresh and welcoming. The welcome staff are friendly and efficient. The newly refurbished bedrooms were lovely - simple but had everything you needed. The breakfast was very good - self service but was kept replenished and had everything you could wish for on a hot and cold buffet. I would recommend this hotel if you are going to see The Greatest Showman, the Circus, as it is a 5 minute walk away. I tried to book the Premier Inn but it was fully booked - I’m glad as it was more expensive than the Ibis and I can’t see that it would have offered anything better.

I have stayed at the Ibis Earls Court several times over the years it being been getting upgraded to an Ibis/Mercure for several years and it was grate to see that they are almost there with the upgrades.
The rooms have been improved to a high standard, the same overall size as before, but with a much better choice of furniture they feel a lot bigger.
The public areas are vastly improved with a sleek modern look.
The underground car park, one of my main reasons for choosing this hotel is still seriously restricted for space.
As the outside is still under renovation a lot of scaffolding is still in place.
One small item that did annoy me I bought a beer at the bar and I was changed a 10% Service Charge, what for the Barman putting the beer in a glass and taking my cash ?.

My stay was very good at this hotel. The staff were friendly and I had a clean room with a good view. Parking on site is great and the location was great to get into the key parts of London I was visiting.
A shoutout to Noura in the restaurant who was very attentive and got me a table and food at a moments notice. Nothing was too much trouble with the team which was great to see.
Overall I enjoyed my trip and would recommend.

Comfortable hotel equipped with every comfort, the rooms are in the Ibis standard. The hotel is very convenient because the tube line nearby leads to both Gatwick and central London. I tried the attached restaurant which is to be recommended, you eat very well at a correct price.

Staff friendly at check-in and stayed in one on the newly renovated Mercure rooms 915. However, sad to see that the rooms are damaged already -walls marked, bottom of the table worn away, nail varnish on bedside table. Bed very comfy. Breakfast ok but not a great cereal selection for children. The bar menu has been updated but seems to have tried to go too upmarket rather than what they had previously good honest pub grub. No hot water and reported to reception but still no hot water on day 2. Reported again on check-out but my concerns were basically dismissed. Stayed here 3 times and had another 2 upcoming trips planned for here in May and June but will stay elsewhere.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. We are pleased that you found our staff friendly upon check-in and that the bed provided you with comfort for a good night's sleep. Our team strives to create a welcoming and restful atmosphere, and we're glad these aspects stood out to you. However, we are truly sorry to hear of the issues you encountered with the room condition and the hot water. We aim to maintain immaculate rooms and promptly address any maintenance issues, and it seems we fell short of this commitment during your stay. Additionally, we apologize that our breakfast cereal selection did not meet your or your children's expectations and that the recent updates to our bar menu did not align with your preferences for classic pub fare. We value the feedback on our amenities as it helps us to continually improve our guest experience. Concerning your experience at check-out, it disappoints us to learn that your concerns were not met with the level of care we aspire to provide, and we will ensure this feedback is used constructively. Nonetheless, we are pleased to acknowledge your satisfaction with the comfort of our beds, an essential part of the guest experience. As we strive to provide a restful night's sleep, we're glad to have delivered in this area. We look forward to welcoming you very soon. Best regards, Manish Dulal, Guest Relations Manager

Accessible room had been recently renovated. The bathroom was very suitable for the disabled with a shower safe and easy to use. The only thing missing was a magnified mirror for mens shaving or ladies make up.,
The twin bedroom mattresses were excellent. Great TV & of course tea making facility.
Unfortunately the one chair was very poor & extremely hard to sit on. It could do with a thick cushion. The lifts to ground floor were very large & quite new . Breakfast was very good.
