The Ashburn Hotel was a great hotel for our short visit to London. The room was the right size with a very comfortable bed, the staff and service was great and having the continental breakfast in the morning was great as well.

Good location only minutes from the tube. Room really nice and vintage, staff a little miserable and abrupt. Breakfast was average but the location for eating was far too small. You get continental included in price, they mis-sold me as i booked for full English...More
The many positives----large, extremely quiet room with a huge closet, lovely complimentary breakfast, newspaper at our door in the morning and bottled water in our room---far outweighed the few negatives---too firm mattress and hard-to-regulate heating. The staff is very helpful when asked, but overall are...More
I like this hotel because of its location, good breakfast and friendly employees. Our flight arrived in the morning. I wrote to the hotel as I worried about the checking in. They replied quickly and arranged the room while we arrived. The hotel is very...More
Lovely hotel in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea - easy walk to museums - bars - restaurants.
Smallish room but nicely furnished - clean - good en-suite - excellent staff service.
Good residents bar and continental breakfast v good.
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

Breakfast starts at 0700 and goes until 1000. Not sure if they would serve anything that early...but give the hotel a call. It is an excellent hotel with great staff. I bet they would do something for you.

Gloucester Rd tube station is very close to the hotel. Take the District line to Victoria station, then the Victoria line to Euston station. Trains to Oxenholme leave from Euston, don't know how often, sorry!
