I was put on the 8th floor which is a two story room. Lounge, kitchen AND the only toilet on the lower floor. Then climb a spiral staircase (impossible to carry a suitcase up it) to the bedrooms and bathroom. NO toilet on this floor so if you need to go in the middle of the night you have to... More

This hotel was lovely and so convenient to walk to everything. We walked from there to big Ben around past Buckingham palace, through Piccadilly square and across to the eye. And we were only in town for less than 24 hours. I would definitely stay again. The room had a kitchenette ( we did not use) but nice feature. Coffee/Expresso/tea... More

Stayed here a 2nd time as I enjoyed my first stay. I wasn't impressed this time around, the room wasn't great at all, it needed a repaint and looked tacky (not maintained properly). The apartments wasn't that busy so it wasn't like the last apartment to go. Could do with just a fresh coat of paint. The staff on duty... More

My wife and I stayed here for a quick visit to London. Excellent location near Trafalgar Square. The breakfast each morning was terrific. We had a basic room which had a refrigerator, microwave and cook top. Would definitely recommend!

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 16 and 7 years. We checked into a one bedroom apartment on the 5th floor. We arrived early at the hotel (about 8.20 am) as our flight landed in Heathrow at 6 am. Although the check in time for the hotel was 3pm, we had requested for an early check-in.... More

We have stayed at Citadines Trafalgar Square some 15 times. The property is well run, very clean and the kitchen facilities appeal to us because we usually stay for some 10 nights. The staff are very courteous and helpful. It is very accessible from Heathrow: tube to Hammersmith, change to the other side of the platform for the tube toe... More

It's got to be the best value in London and such a fab location just down the road from Trafalgar Square. The rooms are not luxurious but not basic - just clean and comfortable. We have stayed here several times and will stay again

The location is so convenient, close to Embankment station on the left of the hotel and Charing Cross station on the right. Major tourist spots and shopping areas are within walking distance. The staff are helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this apart-hotel against others of the same tier in Central London.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
