Clean, neat, extremely well located. The welcome was great, staff really kind and helpful; I arrived earlier and got early check in without any demand from my side. Above all, the staff is extremely polite, and this is probably the most valuable of all characteristics in any hotel.

I am returning to the Mandeville tonight for the third time... The first time was great value and loved the spot... but I missed my regular haunt a little (just habit). I was then asked by a company to recommend a property that was good value for a business trip to London - yet central... cut to this month, and...

Staff were not very friendly as we arrived early and were dismissed quite abruptly, rooms are fairly small. The nespresso machines only had 2 capsuals and you're charged £1.50 for more but location is excellent.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend trip to London. It was our first time in the city and we chose The Mandeville based on a recommendation from a colleague. We could not have been more pleased with the location. The hotel was far enough away from the hectic touristy parts of the city but close...

Thank you very much for wonderful experience in London. Also if I stayed only one night and was most of the time on Sales Calls - my arrival was already surprise. Reception employee who did check in for me took real care of every wish and did much more as requested (she works really with heart). I got wonderful room...

It an absolutely beautiful hotel and in such a lovely part of London! It's a block away from Selfridges and Oxford Street, so convenient for a shopping spree! The staff are absolutely lovely and are there waiting on you hand and foot! The only things I wasn't too keen on was the high price for all the food and drink...

I have to say that except the perfect location, the room was Fantastic and very big and with nice decoration! But the most important was the effort of the crew to make us feel special!! Monica is one of the best hotel manager I ever met!

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
