The hotel is located one block from tube & Thames. Just 2 blocks from Downing Street & Trafalgar Sq. Short walk to Big Ben & Westminster. If you get a room with a view the hotel looks across at the London Eye. The front desk people are very helpful and very courteous. The rooms have very high ceilings and plenty...

I travel to London regularly for business and pleasure and this was by far the best stay. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The facilities were excellent and the location ideal. we enjoyed the breakfasts and had both a lunch and dinner in the restaurant which were well prepared and reasonably priced for central London

Excellent from start to finish. Our room was not ready so reception organised drinks in the bar "on the house". Service in all areas first class. Good area to be based - loads to do in the immediate surrounding area.

We loved this hotel - fantastic rooms, comfy beds, new bathrooms (although my pet peeve is shower curtains), fantastic food, great bar and easy location! It's a win-win, also stayed at the Park Lane - was not impressed. Will stay at Horseguards each time I'm in London.

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
