Location is great. But the hotel is very tired and think the £150 we paid for the night was well over what it was worth. Was not at all impressed by being woken up at 6 am with a dreadful 'thwumping' sound pervading our senses...More
Right, let's get the positives out of the way: (i) the location is great, five minutes from Oxford Circus and right next to the BBC; (ii) the mattress - considering what I'll go on to say about the negative points - was reasonably comfortable (although...More

This sophisticated and sociable slice of Central London is a shopper’s paradise, offering the latest fashions, gadgets, and souvenirs. Fitzrovia is conveniently located between the major retail thoroughfares of Regent Street to the west and Tottenham Court Road to the east, with a handful of well connected Tube stations dotted around the area for easy transport. This neighbourhood is a favorite
among foodies as well, with an impressive number of quality restaurants, pubs, cafes and food shops vying for your patronage – especially along Charlotte Street and near Goodge Street Station.

There seemed to be a lot of safe street parking- there was a Bentley parked out front the entire time we were there. It is one block from the BBC HQ- maybe they have a garage? (We didn't drive- from the US. Too Scary!)
