Great location, good hotel and wonderful staff. This was our seventh consecutive one week's stay at this hotel since 2010. Covent Garden and Charing Cross tube stations are only five minutes away and theatreland is within easy walking distance. Hope to visit again next year. Vincent & Jane Malta

Stayed hear recently for 1 night as had tickets for a west end show, now I read before booking it was close to the theatre I needed but pretty much opposite on the other side of the road! Amazing! The hotel sure does look grand when you see it, and upon entering that feeling doesn't disappear, lovely lobby and reception...

I've stayed here previously. This place does what it says on the tin - centrally located tourist hotel. If you want more than a good three star go across the road to The Savoy. But that must not take from this good value location. I found the staff on reception welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and functional (I...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Booked the standard double room, which was tiny. Cannot imagine what the 'cosy' double is like size wise. Room was clean and an excellent water pressure on the shower. Large room safe. Only complaint a lack of a fridge. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was very good, a good variety, from the full English...

We had stayed at this hotel before and had no complaints. However, this time during our one week stay we found a number of shortcomings. The overall impression was as well as being tired the hotel seems to have staff shortages or staff problems. Although we were out and about each morning we found when we returned to our room...

The hotel itself is very nice and the location is fantastic but our room was terrible. We were put next to the maintenance room where something that was stored made a constant noise. The room itself was freezing and had very drafty single glazed Windows. The bathroom was on the outside wall of the building so did not get warm....

Hotel is in a near perfect location for Covent Garden and / or West End. We chose as were going to a musical and between two people the room rate wasn't a bad deal. Place isn't the most contemporary decor but is super clean. We had no problems during our stay. Reception always busy and seemed a lack of staff,...

I organised a group booking here for a business event in London. The hotel was really excellent. Very professional staff, good quality of rooms (though note, a single room means a single bed!). Wifi was string in the hotel and free, and breakfast of a good standard. Would certainly stay again for business or pleasure.

This was our 3rd stay at the Strand Palace and again it didn't disappoint. Booked a standard twin and double for 4 nights, both rooms were very nice, spacious and clean with complimentary toiletries, tea, coffee, biscuits and water, all staff seemed happy and willing to help. We booked direct and received a bottle of proseco and a £15 voucher...
