The location of the hotel is very good. Much close to the most sights. Near by the royal opera and many musicals. The staff is very friendly and the restaurants are of high quality. We will come back next year!

This is the place where you go when you're visiting one of the most expensive places on Earth while having reasonable budget and desire to walk to theaters, pubs, and historic attractions. My humble research says there are no competitors to this place if you take these considerations into account. None. Don't expect any frills or luxuries inside as the...

This hotel, near Covent Garden (West End) is ideal for shopping and theatre. I stay there each time I go to London. The room was quite and correct - I always ask for a single bed so the room was not big. Quick check-in (I've done a internet one) and used the Concierge service to book theatre tickets. I left...

The hotel location is great, very close to Trafalgar Square. The reception is extremely professional and effective. My only negative point is about the quality/price ratio: the hotel was quite expensive (but in line with London prices) and room was quite small.

I wanted to embrace the micro rooms on offer at the historic Strand Palace. Literally only enough space for the double bed and your bag, it does hark back to time gone past. And this was a good experience. It was comfortable, humble, honest and clean. Breakfast was superb...however charging extra for an espresso never wins favours here, but they...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post a candid review of your stay at the Strand Palace Hotel. This was our 4/5 stay here and it was just OK. The hotel seems to be pushing prices up but comfort, facilities and service are not keeping pace. Other hotels appear to be offering better value. I would stay again as the location is excellent but it would have to be a good price.

Lovely hotel. Situated between the heart of Covent Garden and the Thames near Charing Cross rail and tube stations, this is a super location for visiting the sights of central London. Modernised 'old' hotel, very well staffed, clean and comfortable. Rooms are tiny and it is not immediately obvious what one is getting in addition when one trades up to an 'Executive' room. Executive breakfast, however, was first rate.
