Would be hard pressed to find a better location in London. Room was very spacious and quiet. However, as per previous reviews, don't let the photo with the bell captain fool you. There was no one in sight the whole time and we had to struggle with our bags through the doors.

The Millennium Mayfair is the best-priced hotel in Mayfair. Very English, excellent service and food and superb Concierge staff. Rooms are a bit old-fashioned but huge windows look out on Grosvenor Square. Walking distance to Bond Street shops, Piccadilly, excellent restaurants and underground for going further afield.

It is shameful that this hotel has such high ratings on tripadvisor. Don't let the photo with the bell captain trick you. There was no one in sight. I had to carry my bag down the stairs. The lobby hasn't been updated in what looks like 50 years and it smells of it. The same with the rooms with tattered...

I have checked in today and I have booked a club room and a superior room. The club room (710) is a major disappointment and safety hazardous. It's too small, it shouldn't be listed as a club room or even a standard room.. It's more of a store!!! The roof is super low and dangerous, and even the superior room...

I'm presently staying at the Millennium, and just needed to post this to say a BIG thank you to Georgy on reception. She is always happy, with a big smiley face. Nothing is too much trouble and she will go out of her way to make sure everything is ok. Georgy is a credit to the hotel. Thank You Georgy

We used a groupon deal to have afternoon tea here. The price was £30 and i would have to say it wasn't even worth that much either and that was supposed to be half the price. having been to other 4 or 5 star hotels this didn't compare in comparison. They would bring you extra sandwiches and people would check...

Excellent choice of hotel, beautifully decorated, very central to main shopping district and equally easy to get to Theatreland (on Underground). Some wonderful experiences with key staff members, Selam and her female colleague (from Turkey) in the Club Lounge on the 7th Floor were really, really amazing. They were so attentive and always came with a smile - made my...

Rooms are old and need refurbishing, internet in the room is pedantic and slow. The hotel amenities are of poor quality but the restaurent and breakfast are good. The bottom line is that when you have deal and pay less it's worth it as the location is terrific.

Oliver who runs the club lounge has made our stay at this great location, he is welcoming and so friendly. We hope he is here when we come again next year. The view from the lounge is great and the hotel beautifully decorated for Christmas.

So we are checking in and coincidentally are behind the group of ladies in "Nouster's" recent review who were checking out. Well they were not happy and at the time we thought they were making a meal of it. But after staying there for 3 nights we can confirm that the staff are not really cut out for this service...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
