We stayed here with a group of friends for a week and were very pleased. The staff was helpful and the rooms were quite comfortable, with plenty of plugs and wifi for our phones and computers. We found the location to be quite convenient for shopping, restaurants, and plays. The pub next door is wonderful. Our only suggestion would be...

You are definitely paying for the location with this Marriott as the hotel itself is very average. The luggage room bar is lovely in it's old fashioned way although the female staff are a little over familiar. I didn't eat at Maze on this occasion but I have before and it's worth a visit. With so many hotels in London...

An excellently located hotel with easy access to West End's Mayfair. Restaurants nearby a plenty and ideal for shopaholics. I cannot fault this hotel. On arrival after a busy day, we were met by charming staff. Booking in was quick and easy. The main foyer of the hotel is modern and elegantly decorated. My wife and I had access to...

Choosing a hotel in London is not an easy task and due to the mixed reviews I was a little hesitant to book, but found the hotel to be wonderful. The location is great - only a short walk from Hyde Park, Oxford St, tube stations, and of course, Grosvenor Square. We were within walking distance to a lot of...

Choosing a hotel in London is not an easy task and due to the mixed reviews I was a little hesistant when I decided on the Marriott, my decision based primarily on it's position and relative value for money. When picking a hotel in London I was a little overwhelmed. I loved the location of this hotel from the get go, but was concerned about some of the reviews. We booked anyways and how this hotel is only ranked a 78% on TripAdvisor is beyond me. The rooms are spacious, the views are great, and the location is unbeatable....

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
