I stayed at this property for almost 3 weeks and the experience was amazing. This hotel provided me with everything I needed. The Staff met every need and helped in every way they could. The location of the hotel was in one of my favorite districts and walking distance to lots of food and shopping options.

Was pleased to experience a trouble free stay at the Marriott, having had a nightmare visit previously. Everything went smoothly and my only complaint would be that my room wasn't cleaned until very late in the day most days, and the elevators remain painfully slow. Even though there are only six floors, the two elevators can't service the demand. Be... More

Wife and I stayed here for a few days in London. The Hotel has a perfect location. You are in the heart of central London and can walk down the street to many shops and attractions. The Room was a bit small, but very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly to us. The Hotel has free wifi. Wonderful Hotel and... More

The Marriott Grosvenor Square is a great location if you are looking for a nice hotel in Central London. It is very close to multiple Underground lines (about a 7-10 minute walk), shopping on some of the most famous streets, and tourist destinations. The hotel is located around a number of Embassies so it is very safe and in an... More

I've stayed here a number of times as it's my parents favourite and their first choice when visiting London. Great location and in walking distance of most attractions and shopping locations. The beds are really comfy but so are all Marriott beds. :)

I have stayed there on business and vacations many times. I love to come back - it is one of my favorite hotels in London - and my family's as well. The location is terrific. Between Grosvenor Square, Mayfair and Oxford Street, it is close to a lot of things. Great restaurants nearby on James Street and elsewhere. The hotel... More

This is a good hotel, but not worth the money paid. It's very central London and made for tourists. The bar is certainly appealing, but at £14 per cocktail, just a quick drink is enough. There are plenty of normal priced bars elsewhere. The rooms are ok but quite small and don't take your cat because you won't be able... More

Very nice hotel, rooms can be a bit small, but the location in Mayfair is prime. Only a short walk to Selfridges and the many other shops on Oxford Street. A short walk to Regent Street, New Bond Street and about 20 minutes from Buckingham Palace. Bond Street underground very close by for those days of less than ideal weather.... More

Stayed five days here in August with my 20 y/o son and had a great experience. Adam and Danny of the Concierge were excellent with suggestions and getting us hard to obtain show and football tickets. The Marriott is in an excellent location, just minutes to Selfridges its probably ideal. It is also located on a very noisy road though. Having requested quiet, adjoining rooms on a high floor we were allocated first floor over looking the main road. The hotel was 100% full apparently so there was also no possibility of an upgrade, which being... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
