stayed here as it is close to the conference venue the Cavendish Rooms, but i should've stayed at Premier inn and taken taxis. the bathrooms were clean, but never felt totally comfortable- in need of refurb. Everything is slightly grimey. the hotel has a scam where they overcharge for taxis- they booked a cab where they charged £25 for a... More

The hotel is pretty horrible, dirty carpets, dirty shower, hair that did not belong to me in the bathroom, tiny bed with poor quality mattress, funny smell in the room (I had room 20). The only positive point is the location, the hotel is 300 meters away from Oxford Street and Regent Street. It's a huge nope, nope, nope, Gosh... More

Ideal location for London Palladium. Hotel in need of some major refurbishment but was fit for the purpose. Room was clean and had tea/coffee facilities. Fresh bedding and towels. Bed comfy. We paid £95 which included breakfast. You get what you pay for and would definitely stay here again.

We were attending a 2 part show in London and had booked quite last minute to stay here. We went to the hotel earlier than the check in time to learn the way and to see if we would be able to check in early. Our first impressions weren't great but it was nothing more than that the hotel was... More

In all my years of travelling this was my worst hotel experience. The room was tiny and I had to shut one door to open another just to get into the bedroom. The bed was small and only had approx. 12inch of space down the long side. When I awoke I had been bitten several times on my back and... More

Booked by my employers for 2 nights (what we're they thinking?) Hairs and dirt in the shower, mould on the roof, dirty carpets, noisy, bed was awful. Was not desperate enough to try the food. Moved to the Melia White House Hotel after one dreadful night!!!!

I booked a room at this hotel for Saturday 23rd October for two nights. I booked over the telephone with laterooms.com. I just contacted laterooms to cancel this booking as the person I was to make this trip with died very suddenly and was buried last Saturday. Laterooms told me they could cancel but they would have to charge me... More

Looks lovely on the outside and reception even looks OK. But my heart sank as I rounded the corner onto Hallam St and I realised I'd stayed here before a couple of years ago. The place is filthy especially the carpet - and needs to be refubished urgently. The lift stuck at the 4th floor (luckily I was trying to... More

I have spent just one night here and I can say the room did what it was meant for - sleeping. My room (10) was clean enough but the lobby area could bear more cleaning that's for sure. The breakfast is useless - I could hardly eat anything of that but at least coffee was fresh. I wouldn't recommend the... More

The hotel is cheap, has a comfy bed and a very good - central location. These are the good sides. But it has not been renovated for ages and the shower is filthy. English breakfast is included in price - but it would be much nicer to eat anything in a cafe nearby. If you just need a cheap bed... More
