The best about this hotel is location. We spend five days as tourists in London and from this hotel you can easy get to the city centre by walk. Underground is just 5 minutes from the hotel. Rooms are cozy (=small :o) ) furniture is a little bit used. Bathroom was not place, where I would like spend more time...

This is a great mid-range hotel in a terrific location. It's a short walk to South Kensington Station which is on the Picadilly Line which goes all the way to Heathrow as well as the Circle and District Lines which get you to the City or elsewhere pretty quickly. It's also right opposite the V&A Museum. We had a superior...

I stayed one night at the Rembrandt as I was attending a reception at the Natural History Museum and wanted somewhere close by. Overall I was very happy with my choice. The room I had was a 'superior double' on the fourth floor at the back of the hotel. It was quiet with pleasant views and, although rather small, was...

We had two nights which we booked through secret escapes. We had initially booked the run of the house room but to our delight we were upgraded on arrival. The room was amazing, with lots of gadgets ,complimentary fruit and bottled water, sparkling and still. Bathrobes and slippers, coffee machine and minibar. We also had breakfast in our deal. There was a lot of confusion about whether my booking/room type included access to the pool. Resulted in me having to forward confirmation via email which luckily I had after phoning up and asking for it the day before. Very unprofessional that the staff did not know their own rates properly. Facilities and breakfast were good.

Dear Visitor James Thank you for taking the time to review The Rembrandt following your recent stay. I stay in this part of London at least twice a month and an offer came through via the telegraph so thought I'd try this hotel instead of Kensington Close or Copthorne Tara etc. The hotel is great and the staff friendly and efficient. Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
