Attentive staff. Great Restaurant and Lounge in the Hotel The Rooms Seemed a little tired this visit, but it still is very good. Quiet, restful rooms, large by European standards. Excellent location by the Albert & Victoria museum. South Kensington Tube station not 5 minutes away. Great base of operations for a holiday.

Dear NachoDavis Thank you for taking the time to review The Rembrandt. As a loyal patron it is lovely that you still describe us as a “Top Notch Hotel”. I stay here regularly for business, 4 times this year alone, purely for the large, comfortable rooms! Unfortunately on this visit I was given 2 single beds put together as a double which is always pointless and annoying. Being in the old part of the hotel you would think there was an elephant practicing a tap dance on the roof......

We enjoyed a two night stay in the Rembrandt. The location is excellent for leisure visitors – opposite the V and A and close to London’s ‘museum quarter’, much of its fashionable shopping and many good restaurants. There is a bus stop outside the door and it’s a just a four minute walk to a three-line Underground station (South Kensington)...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
