Dear Guest, The Queens Park Hotel is naturally distressed by such negative reaction to the duration of stay here, but very much appreciate you taking the time and trouble to appraise us of your recent stay here. I perfectly understand and would like to tell you a little about the circumstances involved. You state that the room was "dirty". I...

This hotel was a disaster. We booked a double room and got a room in the basement which was so tiny that there was even no space to open a luggage. The window did not close, there was no hot water. Staff was rude and after we demanded to change the room it took as a lot of time to...

I booked a room in November for my daughter and her cousin as the hotel is well located and the deal was good. However, the location is the only positive about this hotel. Already when they arrived to the hotel my daughter phoned due to some "problem" with the booking and a very unfriendly receptionist. My daughter could not carry...

The room was in the basement of the hotel, near the lift. It is hard to sleep. Breakfast disaster. The only good thing is the proximity of the metro.

We stayed there for two nights earlier this week and couldn't be more happy with the hotel. The hotel is located in a hotel area, about 10 minutes walk from Bayswater underground station. The location is very convenient, Whiteleys shopping center, Tesco Metro & Express, Mark & Spencer (inside Whiteleys), restaurants (there is like six chinese restaurants) and souvenir shops...

Me and my boyfriend stayed here last weekend and after reading the reviews we were really dreading it but I can honestly say it's not THAT bad. Yes it is dated and basic but if you are just going to London to sight-see and need somewhere to sleep then it is perfect- it's about a 5 minute walk from Bayswater...

Apart from being well located and cheap (caught a special booking deal online), I can hardly find any advantage of this hotel. It is disgustingly dirty, the staff doesn´t care about anything at all. Watch out as they have rooms in the street level (semi-basement)....no wifi, no daylight there, be careful!

Avoid this hotel. It is disgusting and dirty! There was blood on the bedspread!! I called to the front desk to let them know about the unclean linen and they could have cared less. I asked them to bring me a fresh one and they said no if I wanted a new one I'd have to come get it. So,...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
