Stayed 3 nights and was very impressed with the hotel. The value for money was excellent for London and the location was perfect for travelling around the city. Would and will stay here again if I find a similar deal at the time.

Great location, friendly staff and one of the quickest check in's I have ever had. Rooms are clean, modern and the bathroom is very smartly done. HOWEVER the rooms are tiny. You need to really think about the size of room v the rest of the positives that there are about this hotel. Its the only thing I can fault...

Stayed one night after concert at Royal Albert Hall - used room 111. Basement room with air conditioning, one small double bed and two singles. Very clean and enough space for two, but would be very cramped for four people. Small bathroom with two basins, bath and over bath shower. Lots of towels and well supplied hospitality tray. We needed...

Stayed at this hotel for three nights with my boyfriend in February 2014. The location is very good and would definitely stay here again for this reason. Glouchester tube station is a 2 minute walk and brings you straight into the centre of London. The area around the tube station also has pubs, restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly and...

Very nice hotel. Twin bedroom big enough for one or 2 people with no much luggage... Very clean. Bedroom in a good state. Nice shower. Room cleaned everyday. Friendly staff. Nothing negative really. Nice area, walking distance from Hyde Park and 5 minutes from South Kensington tube (direct to St Pancras). I recommend + ++

Amended one Unfortunately, this hotel was very disappointing. Myself and two of my friends were visiting London for a special birthday. We had a triple room, which was like a cupboard box. The room was so small that it was hard to fit two people never even mind three of us. We asked the hotel when we arrived, whether there...

First impression of the place was good - looked lovely (obviously it's a lovely looking building being in Kensington). Checked in quite late as we were on the last flight from Aberdeen - staff were friendly and hotel was very easy to get to using the tubes - didn't take long at all to get from Gatwick to South Kensington...

Booked this hotel from Australia for my daughter who was in the UK using my credit card to secure the booking. The same day she booked in and paid they debited my credit card for the accommodation. Nearly four weeks later and three emails, all ignored and unanswered, I am yet to receive the refund to my card. Very unhappy!!

It was an alright place to stay, it was cheap enough for a lovely area, close to central, transportation wise ; good enough, you can walk oxford street for like 20 min. Rooms were serviced everyday, some double rooms are too small for 2 though. If you are a couple then it's ok but as friends then you are Better...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
