Halfway through my most recent stay I decided I had enough material for this update... The "renovations" are quite in keeping with the original motif and era, and so are not to be confused with an updating, per se. This said, they are still not complete (!) so mine was an original room. Service, as usual, was gracious and attentive,...

We stayed here back in February. It is a lovely hotel with lots of quaint and original features. It's also in a great location. The room we stayed in was lovely but in the need of a little tlc. The hotel was under renovation so we can't to head back and see the updates. Definitely worth a stay for anyone...

Our third visit to the No. 11 Cadogan Gardens with our four years old daughter who was sick. Stayed a week for leisure. It was perfect location and stylish boutique hotel full of history which makes it somehow mysterious and exclusive. Mostly enjoyed the positive energy and great spirit of their staff; especially Kevin who brightened up our mornings at...

We have stayed here lots of times. In fact every return trip from dubai we head to what has been our favourite hotel in London. It's small, but rooms are large and each one is different which is refreshing. The concierge are normally excellent, but on the last visit front desk were dreadful. To be fair the FD manager did...

First time to 11 Cadogan Gardens on Tuesday for a quick visit to London. Picked it by location, really handy for all the west end, and saw it advertised in a magazine promoting Sloane Street. Disappointed by the first impression, as they still have scaffolding outside after a year, so this does detract from the property! Staff really friendly and...

I have been going to # 11 since the 80s when I suppose it was at its most exclusive, a semi private club atmosphers prevailed. Clientele included many of the Christies expert crowd, actors Pierce Brosnan sited a few times, Monica Lewinsky to name only a few I saw personally. I never really know who the owners were but the...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of your recent stay with us. Over the last 25 years there have been a number of changes at the hotel as you correctly say. I am happy to write that currently we are coming to the end of an extensive refurbishment program that has been designed to address some...

Had a rather poor experience at no11 contrary to good reports. Although the hotel is being refurbished I wasn't impressed with the results so far as I preferred the way it was. The room we were given was horrendous relating to noise levels. I had to complain about the tv next door at 2am as you could hear every word...

I would highly recommend this hotel and its personnel and location. The room was very royally decorated , with a huge comfortable bed, gorgeous chandelier and beautiful fabrics and antique furnishings. The turn down service was excellent. Wake up call and breakfast arrived exactly on time. The reception rooms were very typically British, with tea and scones served in the...

My daughter and I stayed here for a night just before Christmas. It is a perfect location just behind Sloane Square but so quiet with absolutely no traffic noise whatsoever. Sadly the hotel is being refurbished so we couldn't see the beautiful facade and look forward to that in due course. We weren't disturbed by any noise whatsoever and had...

Cadogan (pounced ku-dog-n) Gardens is a wonderful experience. We stayed for six nights this trip. We're there guests previously as a stopover on our way to and from Africa. The hotel is small and you can become friends with the incredible staff. Richie the concierge (former conceirge of the year for UK) is remarkable! He helped us get tickets to...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
