We loved this hotel and would recommend to anyone. The location is wonderful, walk to Harrods, museums, Sloane St. Shopping and surrounded by wonderful restaurants. The concierge, in particular "Emelson" couldn't do enough to help us and make our stay memorable. The only downside is the Internet service, it is quite antiquated, like the old dial up! You have to...

What a delight to stay at No. 11 Cadogan Gardens, Situated in a very affluent area, near desighner shopping; an easy to walk to public transportation and restaurants. The staff were very accomodating and went out of there way to make our stay pleasant. We felt pampered. The bedding was fresh, soft and very comfy. The bed was turned down...

We stayed at this hotel from 1st until 6th of Oct 2014. Reception was very kind and welcoming. A maze of rooms and corridors, dark, mystic - did we see a ghost somewhere at the top of the very English staircase? Old goldframed portraits of pale historic Gentlemen and Ladies. It is not a Place for wheelchairs. A lift With...

My husband and I were in London last week for the first time. We enjoy boutique hotels and we have honest expectations of them. We checked out the web site and it was obvious that this was going to be a charming hotel in an old building--- therefore we expected an older lift, small but beautifully decorated rooms and things...

We booked our stay at No 11 with some trepidation having read some of the comments on here and after having now stayed there I can only conclude that those reviewers that have made derogatory comments about this establishment perhaps are not used to the charm, sense sparkling interiors, and humanoid treatment which to me were the key memories of...

A perfect location with attentive staff but such a disappointment. I booked on line well ahead and paid a reasonable £1000.00 plus for 4 nights, VAT included but no breakfast, (there are many excellent places to eat locally.) Our room on the third floor was looking over a very large building site, the noise was very bad all day long....

There are some fabulous rooms in the hotel and we were lucky to have one, if you are looking for a real taste of opulence, book the Sloane Suite - it is amazing! Service was mixed, the concierge team and daytime front desk team were great. The night time front desk and bar staff were poor. We stayed for two...

My partner and I, seasoned travellers and hotel stayers, were booked in for two nights. A review of the hotel’s website was encouraging, where even the most basic advertised room, a superior double, offered a queen sized bed in luxurious surroundings. Our room bore no relation to this and was tiny with a standard double bed. The bathroom had to...

Stayed here for 2 nights recently, in a Junior Suite. The place was fantastic, the service impeccable and the location nice (especially if you are into high-end shopping and a fairly lively night life)

We stayed here on a wee break. A splendid hotel in the heart of Chelsea. The staff were very attentive and warm, especially the concierge. The suite we had was unbelievably good (and huge). All in all it felt more like being at home than staying in a hotel. If you want a change from the corporate chains this is...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
