Stayed in a hotel for 2 nights during the weekend. There was not noises or nights fights outside, as I could experience in different hotels. Nice room with the room bar, which was a bit weird, because if you take something from you will add up the price of that item to your bill. We had to go to reception,...

Being opposite the underground, on the mail line to the airport, and elsewhere, it really the best thing going for this hotel. It was incredibly easy to travel around London from staying here. With a Starbucks 2 minutes away (good for coffee first thing in the morning and free WiFi) KFC, Pubs, supermarket etc etc, it really is a great...

Dear jpmorris I am pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and appreciated our great location. Dear Rockymcm Thank you for your feedback, I am so pleased that you found our restaurant "excellent", our concierge "superb" and our rooms "a very good standard". Please accept my apologies that you were not told of the happy hour prices until you were leaving the bar (although you would only have been charged the happy prices) and that you...

Dear TH Thank you for leaving feedback on your recent stay with us. For a long weekend in London we (couple + 2 kids) chose the Crowne Plaza Kensington based on the reviews we had read, so there were no big surprises. We were staying on points, so that may be the reason why we didn't get an upgrade even though I'm a platinum member of Priority Club, but this wasn't a major...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
