Stayed here for one night. Double room on 8th floor. Room 845. Good view of shard, St. Paul's and Gherkin. With booking a club room, we had complimentary access to club lounge which was situated next to reception on ground floor. The lounge was empty, but we were looked after by staff, providing us with drinks and snacks. The leisure...

We loved this Hotel. Nothing was too much for the Reception Staff. The rooms were excellent and the HYPNOS bed was sooooo good that we're going to change our at home to be just like this one ! Amazing breakfast. Relaxing bars. If you're staying in London, stay here - you won't be disappointed.

The hotel does not have the charm of a Montcalm, but the room is much more "breathable", pillows are comfortable, they even hand us out some pillow scent; all equipment necessary except... the minibar is empty, and once the lobby bar is closed (midnight) all you can get are beers n wine. Definitely a good stay. Circa 10mns walk from...

Booked on Late Rooms for £124 room only for a Friday night. Found relatively easily from King Cross station, a 15 minute walk. Check in was smooth, lovely receptionist who told us she'd given us the biggest room on the 6th floor with great views. Very true, large room, comfy bed, everything looked modern, fresh and well kept with great...

My family of 7 stayed at this property when it was still a Holiday Inn and in the process of conversion. We had 2 rooms on the 8th floor with 2 double beds in each unit. The rooms were a little tight for 3 or 4 people per room compared to any of the other hotels we stayed in Europe...

We loved this hotel! The rooms were a really generous size for a London hotel and they were pleasantly decorated and clean. There was a pleasant bar which we had cocktails in and the staff were very helpful. We had breakfast in the hotel and it was buffet style with a lot of choice, including cooked to order omelettes, waffles...

My family of 2 adults and 2 children found the hotel to be very good indeed. The room was clean, fresh & accommodated a family nicely. The location was quiet and reasonably accesible from the tube. I would recommend this hotel, & would certainly stay there again. However I was surprised to find that the use of the pool (one...

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
