Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I was booked to stay here as my company we're sponsoring an event nearby. As my baby was only 4 months my partner came to stay and look after him while I was at the event. To start when I arrived nobody helped me up the stairs and the pram nearly...

This beautiful hotel is a short walk to Hyde Park and close to two metro stations. The rooms are comfortable and and staff of very helpful. There is a full bar in the lobby and groups seem welcome to lounge and enjoy the space. The breakfast is fantastic with hot and cold meat and cheese choices as well as eggs,...

I stayed a week at this hotel during my recent visit to London. Overall, I would give it a 3.5 rating. The room (non-smoking) was in the basement, which took me aback when I first checked in but then I realized how noise-insulated it was so my initial grievance over nonexistent views were countered by the quiet. That was great....

We stayed here for one night and asked for a quiet room. Breakfast was continental with some hot food available, we didn't eat the hot food as there were limited choices for vegetarians. Beds were comfortable but the problem was that we kept hearing noisy pipes when the people next to us were using the toilet. The shower was also...

Hard to fault this hotel, great value for money, close to Paddington Station and also Bayswater, alot of good resturant choices close by. Close to Hyde Park, so good for early morning strolls which was one of my London HIghlights. Would certainly stay again. Thanks to the ever helpful staff.

Stayed here overnight on business. The staff were friendly enough, although a tad unprofessional on the front desk - having a conversation about what I deduced was a 'lazy' housekeeper that couldn't be raised on the (very loud) radio whilst checking in guests. The rooms are extremely tired and are in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom had plenty of...

Paul H thank you for reviewing the Lancaster Gate Hotel after your recent stay with us. We were pleased to read that you thought the staff members were friendly and attentive. We were disappointed to read that you felt the rooms were extremely tired and in need of renovation. The hotel has just completed a ground floor refurbishment, and further...

Stayed a couple of days in May with husband and baby. Staff was friendly, and the room, (a family size room with one double and a single bed) were clean and alright standard wise, although a bit on the small side, but this is common in London. Housekeeping did a very good job. Bathroom could use a bit of TLC,...

We stayed here for two nights for my birthday trip to London. The hotel is located next to Hyde Park and is very close to tube stations (5 minutes in either direction) and a regular bus service. There are lots of restaurants within a few minutes walk with plenty of choice of cuisine. The room was a little dated but...
