Nice building in quiet residential area. They set us at the lower floor, which has a window on inner courtyard. The room is spacious enough for 2 people. The bathroom is well laid out, with a bath with shower use. LCD TV with English channels only. Friendly and helpful staff. Good standard of cleanliness. Strategic position to visit the city,...

I was really happy with this hotel after previous bad experiences with hotels in London. It is clean and quiet and the location is great. I am planning on staying here again and will stay here any time I got to London again.

Have just returned from a stay at this hotel and was disappointed with the room. We were on the 5th floor so the roof was sloped and there were two tiny windows. I should have asked to be moved but didn't have enough time as we were dashing out again thankfully! However, although old the place was spotlessly clean and...

I stayed at Lancaster Gate Hotel before and after a European Tour. I want to praise the staff at this hotel for absolutely outstanding and friendly service. They could not be more cheery nor helpful. Particular mention to Lara who was a delight to be met by first thing in the mornings. For central London the rooms were great. House...

A short stay here in the very cold days of December. The hotel was undergoing certain refurbishments so not seen at its best. However the staff were very welcomng and our bedroom was well equiped as was the bathroom. The heating system was a litle tempremental but once working soon warmed the room to a very satisfactory level. We had...

Stayed for 12 nights. Fantastic location. Near several undergrounds, cafes and restaurants. Andrew, Poonam, Claudia and Linda were very helpful. The room. although extremely small, was clean. We kept asking them to put a sheet under the duvet, and, depending on who we asked, received different answers. One desk clerk actually told us that they only do that in America!...

Our "small" room was just next to the lift and it was quite noisy. The breakfast was disappointing for 12£ per person. Apart from this the location was fine, about 100 meter to the beautiful Hyde Park. The next underground station "Lancaster Gate" was just 5 min. to walk. Tip: next to the station, at the corner, there is a...

Just back from the Lancaster Gate Hotel. We had a lovely 2 night break. We asked for a high floor quiet room and this is exactly what we got - we were on the 5th floor at the back. The room was quite light, a generous size, smartly decorated with white sheets and towels supplied. The staff were really friendly...

Had a great stay here with my mum and sister. The room was well sized for three: double bed, single bed with seating area for two with a spacious ensuite bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Location very convenient for the tube, walking distance to Oxford street and Hyde Park almost across the road, but the hotel is off the main road...
