What an outstanding restaurant. I loved the lighting at night time , the view across the river blew me away, especially seeing Big Ben. We had fantastic waiters. All the food was so good.It was presented beautifully and tasted fabulous . My daughter was made a fuss of and she felt very special. I would definitely return.

The hotel is centrally located walking distance to many attractions (Big Ben, London Eye) and on the Thames River off Westminster Bridge. We loved walking over the bridge at the end of the day to people watch. It an older and charming hotel with modern amenities and elegance. We loved our room; decent size and clean.

Staying at the Marriott County Hall does not medan that I have to take a break from my exercise routine. The gym is very large and extends over part of the 5th and 6th floor. The pool is 25 m long - a size not be found in most hotels. Maria, a very professional personal trainer, took care of me...

We have been greeted when we arrived, very professional staff were so helpful. The receptionists were very good and friendly, offered us if we wanted some breakfast in the morning next day. We arrived about an hour earlier and our room luckily was available and ready for us which was great. Next day we had our breakfast in, very delicious,...

Having spent three nights in a newly refurbished room, our experience at the Marriott County Hall was more than expected. Our room was on the fourth floor, looking out on the London Eye and the Thymes River. The room was clean, quiet at night and had one of the best showers I have experienced in quite a long time. The...

A very nice hotel, located at the heart of London. The staff is very kind and friendly. Our room had a breathtaking view of Westminster (Big Ben) and was very spacious and newly renovated. The hotel is the perfect mix between historic (the building) and modern (the interior) and offers great views of Big Ben and the London Eye. We...

We arrived in London for a 3 night break. We had phoned the hotel 2 days prior to request either a family room or adjoining. Having 3 young children this is always a issue. When we arrived it was late in the evening and snowing. The doorman outside did not help with the luggage! Once inside they were very helpful....

The property has a lot of different personalities....from the Nobs Lobby Bar with a great atmosphere to Gillray's Bar with a spectacular view of London. Even had a great library and lots of accommodations with a wonderful concierge that can get you tickets to just about anything.

Great hotel, excellent staff. My partner and I stayed here for a birthday and valentines day treat. Our deluxe room afforded unbeatable views of the London Eye, Parliament and the Thames and also from the fabulous ground floor bar and restaurant. Jean-Pierre is an outstanding at the front of house to the restaurant which serves first class food. Twice the...

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
