The hotel is right round the corner from the London eye and as soon as you enter it is grand and staff are very welcoming. The afternoon tea was in the library lounge which is a really...

Visited for my sons 18th birthday. From the very beginning every member of staff was polite, caring and could not do enough for us. The hotel is wonderfully positioned for exploring the city particularly if you plan to use the tour buses. The views of the city are stunning too. The hotel itself is immaculate and full of character. The...

We booked afternoon tea for 1.30 in the library room. The room has lots of character and stunning views over the Thames. The staff were attentive but we did not feel rushed at any point and could take our time to enjoy the experience. We were offered more tea and more sandwiches. We would highly this hotel for the quality...

I took my wife here for a couple of days as a birthday treat. There is no doubt that this is a very good hotel and we enjoyed it's comfort, and the meticulous personal attention afforded by every single member of staff, who were helpful, polite, and attentive to the nth degree .. in fact so much so, that I...

Had the pleasure of staying two nights in the London Marriott Hotel County Hall with my daughter when we were attending an event at the BFI South Bank. The hotel is in a perfect location right beside the London Eye (and I mean right beside - our bedroom looked out on to it!), and just seconds from historic Westminster (Big...

When you have a hotel that is situated across from Big Ben and is situated beside the London Eye, you cannot fail to be impressed. I am very happy to say that the very high quality of service and food we found during our visit for dinner on the 13th January 2017 was amazing. The staff were also very attentive...

Stayed here for a weeks visit to London. It's right on the banks of the Thames and has great river views. You can hear Big Ben which is great. Location is great, transportation options are awsome. Taxi, the Tube, buses and river boat. If you have a hard time walking try getting a room close to the elevator, this building was once government offices...

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
