We contacted concierge to arrange for a car to pick us up at the airport. Our driver, Raj, was waiting for us as we exited baggage claim, our name in large print on his iPad. He was fabulous and in fact we hired him for the remainder of our London airport shuttle needs (3 more times). He took us on...

Shining star this Marriott property is in the heart of Londons tourist destinations like the Big Ben and the House of Commons not to mention the London Eye rooms are nice and large quite spacious, breakfast and dinning options are good, naturally since the property is an old building there are some issues but none that make it worth not...

The location is great. Right near the Parliment/Big Ben/London Eye and boat cruises. The tour buses (Big, Original and Night) all stop in front of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Reberta,Jason and even the waitess provided us knowledge of the statues. Their breakfast are excellent (besides the views of the Parliment and Big Ben). Room...

Excellent staff. Always use Nick @ concierge desk. His knowledge of local attractions is excellent as well as his service. Gillray's restaurant a little pricey but we enjoyed a great meal and good service. Hotel location is perfect for touring Westminster or hopping the trains or bus tours.

I was part of a hen party that bought 8 vouchers and booked a day at the Spa. We were impressed with the location but once we entered the Spa we were very disappointed. Only one tiny pool, toilets are disgusting, sauna is for three people sitting on a tiny bench, steam room is far from good and the jacuzzi...

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your feedback following your recent visit to our Spa. I am glad you enjoyed your massage, however I was disappointed to learn that your Spa day did not meet your expectations. The cleanliness of our facilities is taken very seriously and this is not our usual standard. We will be reviewing our cleaning procedures to...

Title about says it all. Location was fine - right under the London Eye and 5 min walk to Waterloo (trains or tube) - that's what it's all about. Oh, executive lounge not great - no windows, too many kids (granted, vacation season), not best wines or evening canape or dessert selection. Breakfast (not in the lounge, but in the...

My wife and stayed here for two nights after staying in the Marriott Park Lane. This location is one of the best in London, next to the London Eye, across the Thames from Parliament and Big Ben. The building is historic and quite impressive, but our room had an odd shape, a tiny window looking out at the Eye, and...

Amazing location! Right on the river across from Big Ben and next to the London Eye. We had a view of the London eye from our window. The entrance has this elegant courtyard when you pull up the hotel. Close to several different underground lines and bus stops so very easy to get around. The hotel structure and lobby feels...

We had a room with a fantastic view of the Thames and Big Ben. Our room was very comfortable and the staff (front desk and concierge) were incredibly helpful. The lounge was kind of marginal, although one could get a free glass of wine, beer or soft drink. Snacks were not appetizing. Breakfast was served off the lobby in what...

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
