I booked a spa day and massage at the Kensington close hotel imagine spa. Staff were very friendly, facilities were to a good standard, the pool was slightly noisy due to children's swimming lessons. The massage itself was fantastic, very professional and did a fantastic job. Muscles felt very relaxed. Would recommend it

Stayed here for three nights recently. We arrived at 9am and as our room was not ready staff allowed us to store our luggage until we could check in. The hotel itself looks quite flash in the reception area. The room we had was a double ensuite which was quite small. The shower and air conditioning was not the best...

Rooms in hotel very small. Location is great very near Kensington High Street Tube. I stay in lots of hotels in London and this is the first time there was a charge to use the Gym facilities £8 which I declined to use, it is these types of charges that lets hotels like this down.

Hotel is in a great Location. You are about a ten minute cab ride from Victoria station where you can get on the hop on hop off buses. There are many shops and big name retail stores in the area (H&M, Zara, etc.) Let me first say that the WIFI here is a HUGE joke. My Wife and I were...

Pleasant welcome on arrival. Had booked two nights in a Superior Double as I knew rooms were small & basic but had an upgrade at check in to Executive. King size bed was very comfortable. Room clean and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits. Rooms are small but hotel web site clearly states sizes so don't complain afterwards is...

We booked to stay here for one night for my partners birthday and you pay for the location. We requested 11am check in but couldn't check in until later. We had things planned from 12pm so we left our bags with the hotel. We done so much walking and couldn't wait to have a relaxing bath before going out in...

I booked this hotel online and got a one night stay for a reasonable price over the bank holiday weekend. The location is perfect. Just a couple of minutes walk from the tube and easy for both West and Central London. The outside of the building is a bit grotty but the lobby area and bar are nicely decorated. We...

As the title states, the rooms were very small....although very clean. The bed seemed small for a double but the room was well looked after by housekeeping towels and shampoo etc being stocked every day. All in all a good but not brilliant hotel with attentive and friendly staff.

This hotel is clean and close to the tube station. Staff were friendly and helpful. WiFi expensive £10 for 24 hours and only could connect one device, big hint, buy it when you come home after your day out not when you check in. The bathroom is so small and the toilet is so narrow, this was the worst thing...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
