This hotel was easy to get to on the tube or about £12 in a taxi from Kings Cross. It was also within walking distance to all the places we wanted to go to. What I think made this hotel stand out from other hotels I've stayed in in London is the amazing staff who were extremely helpful and welcoming...

I've stayed here a couple of times now and think the location just behind Oxford Street is fantastic. The staff are really friendly, courteous & helpful. Breakfasts are also very good with a nice selection of both hot & cold options, with great cappuccinos. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The narrow passageways take a little getting used to, if...

Stayed here for a night and was astounded by the location, it is just 5 minutes away from Oxford Street, and the Marble arch station is within walking distance which made my travel around London hassle free. The room was small but didn’t matter as I was sightseeing most time, staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious, liked the...

The location is brilliant, as other reviewers repeatedly say. The room we had was really small, but I thought this was reflected in the price given the superb location. It was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and good linens. We didn't have issues with noise, as we were on the back, facing a wall for the building behind. Breakfast...

Nice hotel but very noisy. Do not stay in rooms close to the lift. Was given a paraplegic room which the bathroom is not really comfortable for able bodied people. It was one night so didn't bother requesting a change. Requested a late check out at 5pm and was charged more than I had paid to stay the night (150gpb)...

Positive: Distance to Marble Arch train station Negative: Room was terribly small, almost claustrophobic. No space to put luggages, hence husband and I had to give way to each other whenever we need to get across the tiny room. The bed was placed against the wall, so one has to climb over to get to the other side. Wardrobe was...

If you are taller than 5ft 7 do not book a single room as you will struggle to sit on the toilet. If you enjoy waiting staff sharing their woes of life whilst you are eating - go ahead and enjoy yourself!

Not the quality of a 4 stars hotel. I was unable to sleep as it was really noisy on the street. Not really good windows to isolate noise. I won't reccomend this hotel, really high price for the quality of the room I had.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
