If you mean Hyde Park/Kensington Garden then the entrance is just over the Bayswater Road, use any of the gates, so walking to the park entrance is just 2 or 3 minutes from the hotel. If you mean Covent Garden, take the tube. It's just up the road, along Bayswater Road, about 10 min walk. There probably is a bus, but tube is quicker. Visitor Oyster card is ok if you are doing a couple of trips, but you have to apply and it costs a fiver I think, or you can use any UK bank contactless card (single trip paying cash is £4.60, using contactless its £2.40 -Nov 2017)
