I love this little hotel. There are not many room, no big lobby, no restaurant or bar... all this leads to a relaxing stay, quiet nights, great sleep. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Spotless bathroom, ample towels, coffee/tea service, and a nice tv to watch the BBC! Breakfast is offered next door at the adjoining hotel which...

I visited London for the first time and chose this hotel based on TripAdvisor reviews. I had a lovely stay here. The location is good as Bayswater, Queensway and Notting Hill Gate underground stations are all within a walking distance. The service was very friendly. The room was very warm and not at all damp, as many buildings in London...

Normally I stay at the phoeinx hotel but it was full and I was offered the hotel that adjoins the phoeinx. Both hotels are managed by the same people and I have to say both have the same high standards of service, cleanliness. The location of both these hotels is great ,really handy for tube stations, plenty eating places etc. Everybody...

I spent a few nights at this and the Phoenix hotel recently and everything was top-notch, from location to cleanliness and staff! Just 2 minutes walk from the nearest tube station and in the middle of the Notting Hill area, this cosy hotel will fulfil any expectation you're travelling with! Beautiful building stylishly refurbished, the Kensington Gardens Hotel counts with...

This was the cutest hotel in Kensington. Great location with it being a few blocks away from the shops and restaurants. It is about 5m walking from the Bayswater tube stop. Rose was great. she greeted me with a smile and made feel at home. There is a breakfast next door at their sister hotel, The Phoenix Hotel. I highly...

Stayed here for a night on business. Lovely cosy hotel which was spotlessly clean. Easy to get into the City by the nearby tube station and would be great as a base if you want to go sight seeing. No bar or restaurant but just next door is the sister hotel so you can go there and use their facilities....

Its in a perfect location to reach the main attractions of London, there are 3 subway stations nearby, restaurants, cafes, 7/11 s. The hotel offers a decent service and accommodation for an average traveler, who is not spending the whole day in the hotel room. wi-fi, shower, heating, TV were ok. I had a great sleep there, stuff were very helpful...

We stayed here for one night while attending Proms in the Park. The location is excellent for Hyde Park and Bayswater. It's also in a very quiet Georgian garden circle. First impressions are very positive. . clean, sophisticated aura. However, if you are located on the upper floors, it's hard work with luggage as there are no lifts (we went...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
