Visited this hotel as a weekend shopping treat for my wife. Although still quite expensive, for the location in central London it was good value. Reading a lot of the other reviews on here we were quite worried about small dated rooms, bad customer service, massive queues for the lifts and bad breakfast. Nothing could be further from the truth....

My partner and I stayed in this hotel which was a very pleasurable experience. The executive lounge was a treat and the rooms were of a decent size. The function room downstairs was great for the event we were attending. The view from the room however could have been better.

Good security, you have to have a room key to access the lifts but a very confusing floor plan when trying to find your room. Disappointing to find a bedside light needed a new bulb, the air con/heating would not come on. These faults were sorted out while we were out for the evening. However there was a leak in...

The staff were friendly, polite, and willing to help. The reception and rooms were very modern and clean, and the food was lovely. Perfect walking distance to shops and easy access to the trains. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel itself is nice, very close to local tube station, also very close to Hyde Park and therefore excellent base for Winter Wonderland. Right on top of Oxford Street. Breakfast is great and plentiful. The bad parts, queue on check in was halfway across the foyer, it was 3pm (check in time) so thought we would grab some lunch in...

It makes a very good impression when you walk in. The standard room was really standard and relatively small and tight. The description said that there will be a Nespresso machine in the room but there wasn't. My radiator wasn't working. Not a bad place. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but the coffee/cappuccino machine wasn't working for the 2...

Stayed here overnight while taking in a theatre trip. Booked through Secret Escapes only a few days before & got a really good deal on an executive room incl breakfast (much better than any deal on Booking.com, Trivago etc....) Hotel is in ideal location for theatre goers, shoppers, sight seeing. Very large hotel, excellent service, but bit disappointed by the...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
