I took my wife for a long weekend theatre trip for her birthday. Booked this hotel as we had stayed here before and had been very happy (despite very bad experiences at other Marriott hotels in the UK). The room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable but we were woken up regularly by the very noisy air-conditioning...

Dear Mike M, Thank you for taking the time to place a review here on Trip Advisor, regarding your visit to Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel. It is regrettable to hear that certain aspects of our service delivery were lacking on this particular occasion. For that, I must apologize, as clearly these are not the service levels we pride...

stayed in quite a few 5* london hotels in the past. I was impressed when we pulled up outside... gated hotel with quite a few posh cars outside. The reception is grand and the staff were very polite and helpful. The position was good...(we walked to Harrods in the morning)... the only slight complaint was that the room we had...

Very good service, large rooms, good location, we had excellent lunch in hotel restaurant JW Steakhouse - fine food and nice wines and extremely professional, polite and well mannered staff. Good business centre.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in one of London and Englands Classic hotels, the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough, I was attending a function in the Great Room in the evening, totally inspiring venue, transport yourself back in time and simply enjoy the opulence. A five star hotel and venue, if you want to, spend your time finding minute faults...

The hotel has a wow experience when you walk in. The reception staff were pleasant & attentive. The rooms were nice, but the bed was very uncomfortable, & there were a couple of faulty fixtures. For the price & location of the hotel I didn't expect to find any faults. The breakfast service was terrible! We had to wait for...

I stayed at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House on business, especially as the hotel was a few short blocks from my London office. Just across from Hyde Park and down the street from Marble Arch, this is undoubtedlyone of my favourite hotels in London. The rooms are ample and spacious, the beds are delightfully comfortable, and the concierge service is...

It's always amazing how poorly hotels treat their most loyal guests (lifetime Platinum) and i had the worst service I have ever had at this hotel two stays now in a row. This IS NOT a business hotel. If you are looking to be able to have a late checkout to handle business calls, this is not the hotel for...

I stayed here using my Marriott points with my wife in February 2015 for a late birthday celebration. Other than the executive lounge, which has been recently refurbished and looks very stylish and trendy, the rest of the hotel looks tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. I had booked an executive room but I had to ask for slippers,...

Attending a black-tie function of this size carries the risk that the food will be average and the service impersonal - not so. Congratulations to all concerned for an excellent night. Food quality very high, drinks easily obtained, customer service first class.

We spent few days at Grosvenor House. It was our first time in London and everybody took good care of us. Outstanding service, Claudia at the reception was lovely and gave us an amazing room. Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
