Smell in room of sewage obvious blocked drain but not good when bedroom and bathroom in suite open plan . Reported twice nothing done . Still waiting for manager to contact as promised. Very disappointed. Could smell on street outside also.

Rooms were really spacious and funky. Bathroom was a little strange but other than that couldn't recommend more. Great food available in the bar and very family friendly too with a small play area in the lobby for kids

Stayed for one night only, and upon our arrival we were offered an upgrade to a recently refurbished executive room at a cost of £20. I declined the offer but now regret that decision. The staff were very professional and friendly. Our room was excellent, however, we discovered at bedtime that the air-conditioning in our room was not working. Consequently,...

We had a large room and it was great, great location and nice bar area. Breakfast is a bit pricey but had a good stay. The large bed and bathroom was very clean and pod coffee machine was a must in the morning.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
