Recently moved to the area from Chelsea and was recommended this place. The food was fantastic, very well presented and great portion size. I had the cod (delicious) and my partner had the steak which was very tender and cooked to perfection! Staff were very friendly and there was a great atmosphere in the place. Overall it is a delightful...

The food is fantastic! The staff are so kind. We have had so many meals there and they are all great. You can sit outside or you can sit inside. Outside there are heaters and blankets if you are cold.

The Plough is an attractive, unpretentious pub serving well-priced, well-cooked food in a relaxed & convivial atmosphere. Cocktails are competent, the wine list is good & service friendly. We had delicious salmon with sweet potato, sea food linguine & fried calamari rings. Portions are generous so no room for puddings only mint tea, which was served with little biscuits; the bill...

We arrived on a Saturday lunch time. We hadn't booked and all the tables were reserved or taken so I would suggest you book a table. We were able to have our lunch served at the bar which was fine. Some of the bar chairs had arms were unusually comfortable for bar chairs. The service was excellent they were very...

We visited the Plough with family before Christmas and enjoyed it so much we booked again for New Year's Day. Being Sunday we both had roasts with Yorkshire pudding etc and they were great. Service was attentive and courteous. We shall be back!

We went for a Friday night meal as a party of four. Our reserved table was tucked into the corner with barely enough room for 2, let alone 4. The staff did move us to another nearby table when asked but they made quite a fuss - we noticed later that the reservation for the smaller table was for a...

We have been here many times, usually with our friends who eat here a lot and the staff have therefore always been lovely. This time we took the inlaws and the pup and were put on an awful table next to the till but this didn't really bother us. However the waitress was so incredibly rude-we know they serve steak...

This is a very pretty location- a typical pub from a time ago. Absolutely dog friendly although we had no dogs. The ones that we saw were happy in the garden. It gets 10 out of 10 for charm but the staff could have been more charming although they warmed up throughout the evening! The staff get 6 out of...

My partner and I had Sunday lunch here last week. The welcome was very friendly and we were sat at a nice table outside. The menu choice was excellent, not cheap but good value for clearly home-made food created with care. Slight downside was a request for no onions in a salad wasn't relayed to the kitchen but the staff...

I wanted to take my partner somewhere perfectly English on her first trip to the UK. We rode there through Richmond Park and Sheen Common. The menu is not cheap, but the food was superbe, the staff were all so friendly...it was a special occasion...and I am more than happy to recommend this charming old world pub in a very...
