Yes, a small room but then I did not spend any time there other than for sleeping. IT was well provided for, and very clean, but most importantly very conveniently situated for a conference at the BMA which is only a short walk away. The owners and the staff are very pleasant and I would most certainly come back.

I stayed in a single room for work. Very well placed for Bloomsbury. Lovely reception. Small (very) room but well resourced and very clean. Quiet nights sleep and bed comfort was good. The temperature dropped a lot that night and I was a little cold but not their fault as we'd had some warm weather previously. Breakfast was exceptional. I've...

We had a room for 4 in this lovely small hotel in Bloomsbury. Very nicely decorated and very clean! Quiet and only a short walk from good restaurants and shops. Breakfast was excellent! My mother has trouble with steps and though the hotel is not fully accessible, the few steps we had to do for our room or the breakfast...

I always enjoy my stay at the Arosfa. It is in a great location near the British Museum, and has a wonderful buffet/hot breakfast. Excellent value for money for a london hotel. Will certainly return. Hosts are excellent and excellent communication.

Exquisite little boutique hotel, extremely elegant and comfortable rooms, fully equipped (although rather small in dimensions, at least the single room I had). Excellent breakfast, very friendly staff with a genuine smile. Astronomical value for the money.

Just across the street is one if Londons biggest bookshops, Waterstone's. There are nice parks, many small restaurats, close to the Underground, 40 meter to the 29 bus to Trafalgar Scuare. Only a few hunbdred meters to Euston...

Lovely, friendly staff and great breakfast. Quiet, despite being central London. Very convenient location. Masses of places of interest easily reachable on foot, and tube nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Arosfa Hotel is a refurbished 200-year old Georgian Town House in the heart of historic Bloomsbury district, the former home of the famous Pre-Raphaelite artist Sir John Everett Millais. The cool white garden squares and wide streets of Bloomsbury have been a pull to thinkers for centuries, and it sometimes seems like every second house has a blue plaque denoting that a great writer, scientist or philosopher once inhabited the building. It was in Bloomsbury that Karl Marx created communism, Virginia Woolf defined the twentieth century British novel, and Charles Darwin first conceived the theory of natural selection. The imposing bulk of the British Museum, home to seven millennia of human art and artefacts, dominates the area, and there are plenty of other academic institutions including Birkbeck College, the beautiful University of London Library, and RADA, London's grandest drama school. ... more   less
