Room 12, hard bed, cold shower no bedside table, very dusty pelmet, very noisy as window wedge open. The individual on reception seemed indifferent to my issues. Breakfast was edible . The carpets in the whole place are filthy too. Keep your shoes on. Would I stay there again, I do hope not.

Booked online for two nights stay. Price for first night from credit card straight away and when we arrived they took total for two nights onto card saying the holding deposit would be refunded. Strange. Also having to hand in swipe card every time you go out is strange. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Room was very clean and...

The single room I stayed is on the ground floor. Hence I did not have to lug my luggages up unlike other nearby accommodation I stayed before. The room and its attached shower room are absolutely clean. Though there is little space to open luggage, you can find everything u need in the room including hairdryer and LCD TV. I...

Nice place to stay. Compact but clean with clean towels everyday. Friendly staff. Narrow stair case, no lift so access may be difficult for some people. Good location close to numerous tube stations and good cafes/restaurants. Easily reached via Paddington.

Small hotel, no elevator. A narrow staircase so might be a problem for some to go up and down with or even without luggage. The room was fine in terms of cleaningnes and size but it was a double room and I was alone so it might be too small for couples. The window was very old and not soundproof,...

A pleasant stay at this hotel :) Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights and it was good value for money. Being allocated the basement was great as we had our own private bathroom and it was right next to the breakfast room- obviously no view though :(. The staff were friendly and helpful, only issue was that the...

I stayed here after a works Xmas do. Consequently I wasn't looking for the height of luxury. No chance of that at Leigh House. My room was on the third floor (no lift) As I entered the room I was pleasantly surprised. The decor was ok and the room looked clean and smart. Not a big room but ample. The...

I booked a single room the day before I travelled. It is close to kings cross station and on a street with nice pubs. My allocated room was a tiny box on the ground floor right behind the small reception hub and window onto the street. I asked if they had anything else and so upgraded to a double at...

Extremely small budget hotel. No problem with that because that's what we were looking for. What we didn't want was a room that was dirty (bathroom was full of hairs on floor, sink, and shower), a room with no safe, and hotel rules that state you have to leave your room key with the front desk every time you leave...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
