I've stayed here on two occasions and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for its central location and reasonable cost. Its perfect for walking around London and close enough to bus stops and Tube stations if transport is needed. Hope to be able to visit again soon.

Stayed for 1 night at the Ruskin Hotel with my wife and 2 kids. Was aware from other reviews that unless we booked with an en suite we would have to share a bathroom so we opted for the family room with it's own bathroom. On arrival our check in was excellent, staff very helpful providing us with info on...

I stayed here with my children for two nights, it was very reasonable priced, I wasn't expecting much but was really surprised, large clean room with very high ceilings and two double beds, view of Zbritish Museum from balcony windows, lots of wardrobe space with hangers. Sink in room, toilet and shower room outside, but lovely hot shower, where you...

I only paid £59 on a late booking on booking.com which was exceptional value for a central London hotel. It is set over 3 floors (5 flights of stairs including narrow winding staircase from 22nd-3rd floor), if you have large luggage definitely avoid 3rd floor & if you have walking issues ask for lower floor. There is a lift but...

We stayed for two nights and had a great time. We were not expecting a room with an actual window, with an actual view of a park, at this price! The room was very clean with a great en suite. We also were not expecting a cooked breakfast which was a real surprise. This is a very reasonable, very well...

Booked for two nights, the Hotel is basic and dated and missing some of the mod cons like TV in the room, but! The rooms were spotless and clean, service was very friendly and the breakfast was good. For somewhere in the heart of London at a great price, that's clean and friendly that isn't a hostel then this is...

Stayed one night at the Ruskin Hotel on Montague Street near Russel Square in London. A very nice warm and friendly budget hotel. Nice clean double room with a lovely soft bed and an excellent on-suite shower room. Lovely friendly staff. In a good position to see all the sites. Would recommend it to everyone.

My wife and I 'treated' ourselves to a night out in London at the theatre - to see Warhorse, but that is another story - so we wanted a hotel close to the theatre. The Ruskin certainly is that, and the staff are very friendly but the hotel room was disappointingly small and the toilet and shower were shared (which...

The location is excellent and within walking distance of the tube. The British museum is across the street. But there is no tv in the rooms and you share 2 toilets with all the other rooms on the floor. There is 1 shower but no soap or small hand towels. Expensive for what you get. The staff is helpful and...

We stopped here as a last minute stop the staff are lovely the rooms really clean and the breakfast lovely, would stay here again. The only downside I can think of is that the bathrooms are shared bathrooms but this did not affect anything and again these were clean
