Avoid, avoid, avoid... Booked this hotel as a place to rest our head after a gig. We weren't expecting much but for £100 for the night we expected more that we eventually got. Will not visit again. Firstly the Admiral Hotel's reception is actually two doors down at the Kingsway Hotel. Not a problem in itself, but it took us...

a bit noisy and "strange" hotel, but for london prices and location, its still manageable for max 1 night. it has low rates and you can make changes easily. No elevator so good luck if your room is on fifth floor :)

We booked a family room for myself, hubby and 18 year old son but got 2 rooms 'next to each other' which actually were on different floors. Our double bedroom smelt of the drains - this came from the en-suite. The toilet was so close to the shower you had to sit sideways (I am only 5'4") and the drinking...

After thinking someone was being helpful showing us where hotel was but then asking for money for a cuppa for being helpful (yes I know not the hotels fault) but just be on your guard as this guy kept touching my arm so...

I needed one night accommodation without paying more than £100. This room cost me £90 for bed and a really good breakfast. Good size room plus a good shower. Tea and coffee in room plus a selection of sweets. I recommend this place as good value.

We had one of their speciality pies and it was lovely. We were not that happy with our table and the very nice wait lady moved us to a better table. We were on the upper deck. It is a pub designed like Nelsons ship the Victory. Would highly recommend.

We were only staying in London for a handful of days and found Admiral Hotel to be a perfect fit to our needs. It was a small room but it is also London. So given that it was perfect, a clean bed and a place to shower. The point was not to relax in a resort but to explore the...
