Stayed here for one night, staff friendly in greeting. Great location close to the tube and also to Brunswick Square for restaurants and a Waitrose supermarket, although there is another supermarket almost next door to the hotel. Straightforward small room. Bed comfortable, sheet, blanket and 2 pillows. The room was hot though, so we opened the windows for a while...

Was quite pleased with the room on 7th floor but it smelt of smoke and we didn't have a room with a view but wasn't a big problem. Staff at reception was very good advising and booking our tickets for different venues. In a good position and not too far from the tube. Lots of places to drink and eat....

Had a good stay at this Hotel. The rooms were average in size and tidy. The location was excellent, it's close to the British museum and Oxford Street. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was traditional. We both enjoyed our stay here with my girlfriend.

Nice room overlooking the Park but it was too hot. Staff friendly apart from at breakfast where they looked miserable. A smile goes a long way. Left luggage room very useful and Hotel very central. Plenty of places to eat nearby and great real ale at Lord John Russell pub. Breakfast could be tastier.

Close to the British museum and short walk to Oxford Street. Good bus routes a few minutes walk away. Also close to tube stations. The hotel is very clean with ample toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Staff are extremely friendly in reception, breakfast room and room servicing. I have stayed here several times over the...

Booked this hotel on the brilliant weekend deal for a theatre weekend in London. Painless checking on arrival, was early but staff very helpful in storing my luggage until I could access my room. Opted for this place as it was democratically priced for central London. Regretted the decision - next time I'd rather pay extra 20 quid and stay at a chain hotel nearby, at least they always maintain a predictable standard of cleanliness and furnishing. Those beds on wheels feel like a safety hazard. Disco music from somewhere nearby was reverberating through...

This hotel is good if you are on a budget. The twin rooms have beds on wheels which was annoying when trying to get comfortable to fall asleep. The restaurant was fine for breakfast, but it was a little off-putting knowing that after breakfast, the restaurant then serves Indian food.

It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
