I stay here quite often as it's near to work and on our preferred list. It's in a great central location and the staff are friendly, although the check in desk is tiny and there are often queues so leave plenty of time to check in and out. The place itself is dated and certainly not a five star. If...

The hotel just looks grand in the reception but is far from being a five-star hotel. Despite very expensive rates( breakfast not included) the room we stayed in ( family room second floor) badly needed refurbishing, it was beaten up and quite ruined, and did not look very clean. One of the lamps was not working. We had to ask...

the Grange Holborn is very close to Holborn Tube station making it a good location for a visitor to London. The decor feels dated and the guest rooms and dining area might benefit from an overhaul. The room allocated to my had the tiniest of bathrooms. The bathroom door when open hit the sink which is less than ideal. On...

This hotel is in dire need of a ground up refurb in order to bring it to anything like international standards. The staff are keen and clearly well intentioned but sadly they can do nothing to make up for the fact that the decor, facilities and standards of this hotel have clearly not been revisited since the early eighties. I...

Stayed here last weekend and made to feel so welcome by Suman (concierge). Everything about this hotel is comfortable and spotlessly clean. Reception is efficient and eager to help in any way possible. The Foyer bar serves fabulous coffee, which is always served with a most welcome biscuit. - great after an early morning flight and tube journey. Buffet breakfast...

We stayed in this hotel as part of our hen weekend package. It was beautiful. 5*, lovely décor, immaculate. Service was great, lobby had huge beautiful comfy chairs to relax in with a bar. The rooms were big, lovely sized bathroom with shower or bath option. We were the 3rd floor which was very convenient. Irons and hairdryers provided in...

With my usual hotels fully booked I stayed here for one night during business in June. I arrived late and had no expectations. The property feels old, but that also comes with some charm. Rooms were ok, although I'm no fan of the old decor. Good service, though. Didn't tried the breakfast.

There are much better 5 Star hotels in London - not least the Grange St Pauls. On arrival, no one offered to take our bags. We were "upgraded" to a disabled room which we did not want. We were then downgraded to a tiny, dismal room that stank of smoke. We were then upgraded to a better room - it...

The hotel location is very central. Walking distance to the British museum and Tottenham Court Road as well as Covent Garden area. Public transport is very close too (Central line). The rooms are a bit old fashioned but quite spacious. Nice toiletries provided. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Clean if not a bit dated feeling, decor-wise. Overall fine and comfortable with an excellent staff and convenient location. Free wi-fi (though it did go in and out a bit). Was told of a sky bar with excellent views, but it was either closed entirely or for a private event most nights.
