Rooms are like a cell with no deco with dirty looking duvet covers. Website photographs do not portrait true image of the hotel. Receptionist was impatient, rude and offensive. He became very irritated and started shouting when I asked for a cash receipt. It was a nightmare experience. Please do not stay at this hotel!

Resonably priced, but a real disappointment, to be fair, we only wanted a place to sleep as we traversed the capital, but the skirting boards and the windows in our room, were an absolute disgrace, if you are having people pay money to stay with you, give the place a wipe over. And the description says breakfast included, as you... More

We got there quite late and were looking forward to a nice little hotel. And for 82,-£ we thought it would be an acceptable place. But when we entered the room we were shocked. It was shabby, dirty and had a mouldy bathroom. We asked the night staff if we could change rooms. He got quite aggressiv but gave us... More

Quite possibly the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in! But, it is affordable and beats a back packers hostel. Great location. If wifi is £5 a day, you'd assume that the money would be spent on the upkeep!

Good location and price but the hotel is not in best shape. Missing floorboards throughout. Poor breakfast. Incorrectly charged for the booking. Room very tired and needs updating (like the rest of hotel). Recommend avoiding this hotel if possible as there are plenty similarly priced nearby.

This hotel is old, worn down and very dirty. There were stains on the walls, stains on the carpet and mold in the bathroom. It might be a cheap hotel , but still way to expensive for what it's worth. We only stayed for one night, but that was more than enough. Would not recommend.

The staff members are so rude and often they give wrong infos for direction. Don't even get me started on the cleanliness. I would definitely not recommend it. I don't even know what else to say. There is breakfast which is kind of okay. But overall DON'T COME.

Paid well above average for the room. I was there for three nights. The room had mold on the walls, in the shower and on the floors and the room had a strong bleach smell. Sheets were clean, however there were cobwebs and dust under and behind the bed. Urgent need of a make-over. In saying this, the service I... More

Time to change their smelly carpets before they lose customers. 5 pounds for a 24 hour wifi was just ridiculous. And 5 pounds for each luggage to be kept for a day after checking out was also too much. Poor breakfast, but the breakfast staffs were nice, and they gave loads of toasts as they do not offer English breakfast.... More

I recently stayed at this hotel, without first reading the reviews, And i paid above average for the room! First impressions, outside with lights glowing, I thought ah that's nice, then went into reception, which was a little Grubby and unkept, but the guy in reception was quite conversational and was quite pleasant ! Upon receipt of my keys, I... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
