Professional, fun and knowledge staff. Food delicious, rooms clean and affordable for the area. We recommend the pork belly. Just a stone away from Borough market a place that you will fall in love. Thanks

For a few days in London we needed just a room for a few nights and luckily booked here. Right in the city and a fair price, we enjoyed our small room and can not recommend this hotel enough if you only need a cozy place to sleep.

I personally like the St. Christophers hostels in general, they usually attend my expectations. This one is well located, the room was small but good enough for a short stay. Friendly staff that helps you out whenever you need.

Great location near to Subway. I fully recommend to enjoy the pub area (Belushi's), where guests have a discount! Weak and simple breakfast for what was paid. However it's a nice place with helpful staffs.

The 33-person dorm we stayed in didn't even feel that crowded, everyone had curtains around their bunks too. Lockers provided. Bed made and was very comfortable. Every bunk has an outlet and a light. The bar and pub restaurant downstairs had great atmospheres and the food I had was pretty good was well. Met some pretty cool people. Staff was...

I just spent a night in the hostel, but it was clean as well as the bathroom and rooms. The beds are OK, and the USB charge plug near the bed is very useful! The atmosphere is nice and there' s a nice pub on the ground floor. The wifi works well and the hostel provides amenities such towels and...

As I was on a low budget trip on myself, when I checked into St. Christopher's 33 dorm bedroom. I think it is a bit strange that in such a big hostel there are no big bathrooms but only single ones, which was very annoying. The service and the breakfast were very good.

This was a decent hostel for the money I paid! Good location, right near Borough market. Cages under bed, for small suitcase. Bring your own lock, they will give you free earplugs. My dorm room was all the way at the top floor so imagine getting that if you have a heavy suitcase. There is only 2 bathrooms/one shower on...

Hey there! Thanks for your review :) We are glad you had a good time! There are actually three bathrooms on the floor you were staying on, so I hope you weren't waiting long for the one you knew of. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your fish and chips, it's normally quite popular, especially with your 25% discount! Our drink...

Stayed here for two nights with 6 friends. Staff were very friendly and professional, rooms were clean and perfect for a group of lads. Great location, but the star of the show was the pub itself. Great beer on tap, great atmosphere and open late on a fri and sat night. Would stay here again and will be back to...

Ideal location but lacking tlc, some staff were quite rude too. Didn't have a pillow in my bed. Cheap and cheerful though in an ideal location. Can leave your bags which is ideal. Showers were lovely.

Hey Amy! Thanks for your review. We are sorry there was no pillow on your bed when you arrived, we hope you told a member of staff as that is very unusual. Glad you found the location great and the showers lovely :) Happy travels!

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
