Situated in an interesting and pleasant area, in regenerated docklands. Easy access from Rotherhithe station, which can be reached by the Thames Path, which gets you off the main drag and seeing some of the historic waterfront plus some of the new residential parts of the area. The Hostel itself was, I imagine, purpose built and the entrance area is... More

Visited here on girls weekend, room clean bed comfy and clean. Service in the hostel brilliant, No real noise and a pretty walk to tube station, it was also flat and we saw some interesting buildings. Great value for money and the breakfast was good too

YHA Thameside is a modern purpose-built hostel with accommodation available on four floors. The Hilton it is not but what you have to remember is that we stayed here for four nights with a total cost of less than what it would have cost for one night at that other place! There are bunk beds in the rooms so you... More

I just spent two nights here in a twin room with en suite. My 11 year old son was with me. I'd read up on the Thameside hostel beforehand and knew roughly level of comfort and condition to expect from this yha. However, I'd never visited Rotherhithe before. It was surprisingly easy to get to via Liverpool Street and Whitechapel... More

I was staying here at the beginning of Easter weekend, before my partner flew in to London to join me in Bournemouth for holiday. I was booked into a 6 bed dorm, which was a very clean compact room. Good shower, separate toilet, fresh & good quality bed linen. I managed to have some supper from the Bar menu which... More

We stayed in this hostel for one night as part of a school group. The Breakfast was what you would expect from a youth hostel, it was adequate, nothing wrong with it. The lady who served the breakfast was happy to help and was nice to see their staff so jolly! The bedrooms were adequate. I stayed in a room... More
