I am used to small rooms who cost quite a bit in London. Thats why i loved this hotel. Somehow (i didnt know) i ended up with the honeymoon suite! My room was big - and also had a balcony with a table and some chairs. It was a little bit chilly so couldnt use it that much, but would...

The New Linden Hotel is located in a quiet street near Notting Hill Gate - the perfect spot to start your journey around London. There are many bus lines about 4 minutes away, 2 subway stations can be reached in 10 minutes (walking). The hotel has an elegant reception area and a small lobby, everyone working there was extremely friendly...

Travelled here on business a few weeks ago. The location is just in bays water but not the best bit or nearest to the tube, though not too far. The hotel,is fairly basic, my room had a vinyl floor! It was clean and ok. Breakfast is very basic, really just toast and standard cereals with some cheese and weird tasting...

I stayed here on a Monday evening as United were playing at Stamford Bridge. It was very convenient for central London and is set in a very plush area of Kensington near Notting Hill. Warm clean room, lovely thick towels and a quality tv. The staff on duty were polite friendly and helpful. It was a short tube journey to...

Room was really very small, however it was functional, cosy and with renovated, modern bathroom. Nice view from the window too.Quality-price ratio unbeatable for expensive London. Lovely area in Bayswater, 5 min. walk from Portobello Market,k or Hyde Park. Nice pub and grocery nearby. Satisfying breakfast included in price. Personnel polite and helpful. Would love to come again.

This hotel is in a great location and only a few minutes walk from Bayswater tube station. It is within walking distance of Portobello market and Kensington. We tend to walk instead of using the tube so found ourselves walking through Hyde park and Kensington gardens a lot. Which is only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. The staff...

We arranged a trip to meet up with some old friends, visit an exhibition at the V&A and just generally wander around places we know and love in London, the price was an important consideration for us as funds are tight these days so we weren't expecting a great hotel, just a clean and habitable one. On arrival, we knew...

Enjoyed a very pleasant stay here - perfect for exploring Portobello Road, Notting Hill, Kensington and Bayswater areas. Located in a quiet square, with easy access to public transport, this hotel offered comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms. While ours was not overly spacious, it was well appointed and perfectly adequate. The staff we met were all friendly and happy to help....

I stayed here during a workation in the end of january. I stayed in a suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. However, all the suites are located on the ground floor (which is okay) but the view was not very nice. I had my window blinds down all the time because I didn't feel comfortable with the possibility of...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
