First rate, very personal service. Superb location. One of best areas in London for travelers to lodge. Very affordable rates. Stayed in September.2016. Staff satisfiied our every request, including giving us choice of available rooms, storing our luggage for a day, and providing us with sage advice and directions British empire circa 3-4 story older building converted to hotel, facing...

I stayed here for 15 nights straight in early SEP 2016 - a return for the 3rd time! The location cannot be beat: Just a few minutes walk from Paddington Station (Heathrow Connect plus numerous local trains) and a Tube station even closer. Even returning to the hotel late at night, the area was always populated by lots of "regular"...

We wanted a clean, convenient, and safe place to sleep before our flight home. The bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom looks like it was stolen from a cruise ship but it functioned okay. The front desk person was friendly and knew the area. Breakfast was good. Overall the place looked and felt tired and under-maintained. A bit noisy...

The location of this hotel is very good for getting around London, but do not expect any luxury. The rooms are small and basic, there are no tea making facilities in the rooms, and only a small bar of soap is provided with one towel. The whole building could do with a make over, On the positive side the staff...

Location is couple of minutes walking distance from Paddington (use Heathrow connect to come from airport). The underground is there too. We prefer to use public red double decker to get to Westminster area, or Tower of London. It takes maximum of half an hour, but you are looking around at the city. The hotel is by railroad station. That...

Short walk to Paddington Station and connections to tube, train, and bus routes. Hotel is a converted house. Rooms are small but comfortable. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. Lots of restaurants nearby.

Close proximity to Paddington Station, warm rooms, clean beds and rooms clean enough. Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast it's cooked to order and is in with the room rate. There are a few rooms with en-suites and are generally clean.

Booked 3 nights here on recommendation of a friend. This is an old Victorian row house that is not quaint or romantic, just cramped and uncomfortable. No A/C, no cross ventilation. Room was in back and left unsafe leaving window open, but too stuffy to not. What was reserved as a twin had a double bed. Left after 1 night...

I stayed here for a week and hated every second of it. Although this hotel's location is ideal (just a five minute walk from Paddington Station), its dilapidated appearance, unfriendly staff, ugly rooms, and lack of an elevator are enough to make you move to the Hilton down the street. Although the breakfast was delicious, I found myself waiting fifteen...

I categorize this as a nice bed and breakfast kinda hotel. The rooms are really small if you are booking the single room. If you are booking a single room, chances you might have to climb 4 floors to your room (no lift). The advice here is to pack 2 bags and leave the bigger one in the lobby. The...
