Absolutely great hotel, wonderful receptionist and really nice room. Right in the center of London, close to everything. We had drinks and dinner at the bar that is a part of the hotel and serves the breakfast..but did decide not to have breakfast there in the morning because we saw at least 3 mouses while we ate there, and that...

The Sanctuary Hotel is definitely a nice hotel. It's not a super modern or huge hotel like the Marriott or Hilton but it has a antique yet very clean and nice look to it that makes it stand out. Only negative was breakfast was expensive and the restaurant food was just okay. We ate at some nice cafes down the...

Thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to London, this hotel is in the perfect location. Food and staff are amazing, bar is stunning. My only small criticism is that the room was tired, I must add it was not dirty at all just needed a couple new tiles and a coat of paint.

Very high quality service upon check-in and during the stay (receptionists always welcoming and ready to help with any request). Unique design of the facility, clean although not very new (which is fine with the whole design concept). Always provide discounts for bar and dinner which is a nice touch. Each Fuller's hotel is unique so looking forward to stay...

Was looking for a nice spot for lunch after a busy morning of sightseeing. Was very busy in the lead-up to Christmas. Had a pint of Cider and the Posh Stargazy Pie. Wow! It was great! Never had a pie like that before. So yum and very filling. Will come back on my next trip to London :)

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect for sightseeing, tube station is only 2 minutes walk, Westminster abbey, Houses of Parliament, and the river boats are only a few minutes walk. The hotel room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was very good. I would always stay here in future when visiting London.

Just spent the night at the sanctuary house hotel and it was brilliant. Both the man and lady on reception were great. Had a slight problem with the heating but it was seen to and put right immediately, we were even loaned a heater whilst it was being sorted. Full English breakfast was great and well cooked, shame there wasn't...

This was my first solo stay abroad and the staff was extremely helpful! The room was perfect and had exactly what I needed. Wifi was dependable. Overall the best selling point was the price and location. Located just a block from Westminster Abbey and Big Ben!

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
