Stayed for one night on a business trip. All ok checking in using the screens, room key didn't work so back to reception and a ten minute wait whilst the guy on reception struggled to find the one customers details. Room once in was ok but a bit tired. After a walk I went to the restaurant and stood by...

Great location right next to the Shard and Tower Bridge. Tube station 15 mins walk away and nearby is a lovely area with bars and restaurants. There is a small coop opposite the hotel for any necessities and a weatherspoons near Tower Bridge 5 mins walk away. If you turn right out the hotel there is a fabulous Turkish restaurant....

The staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived after a nine hour flight sick with a cold and migraine, staying in bed for two days. The staff asked after me and provided ice cream and a sandwich to help me along. Very nice. The room was quiet and beds very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Must and my partner recently stayed at this hotel for 2 nights so that he could explore London for the first time for his 30th birthday. The hotel was in a decent location, the staff were very helpful and friendly, even the restaurant staff who were clearly rushed off their feet. The room was comfortable and clean and we really...

so easy to get to famous sights from this venue by walking or public transport, and usual Premier Inn care and comfort. Inexpensive too and you know exactly what to expect with a Premier Inn. we'll always stay there on our visits to London in future.

Excellent stay, only one complaint and that was one of the single beds was rock hard. Aside from that everything was really good. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very clean and we were made to feel very welcome. Jan in the restaurant is excellent she is an asset to your company.

Just got back after a fantastic stay at this hotel. Staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have come across in the many years I have stayed in London. Didn't eat there as we were out early each day and lots of venues to eat cheaply. Co-op across the road for any last minute things you've not packed. Great...

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
