I am not normally someone who is particularly picky when it comes to hotels. I have always been happy with places like Premier Inn etc where you get a bog standard room and all the basic amenities, but no frills. I know you get what you pay for your money, but this place is atrocious and I feel that is...

Good location in the British museum area. Big lobby but with no seating whatsoever. Breakfast is very poor with not even a boiled egg, or you have to pay stg.5 each for an English breakfast, and if you do not go early you have to queue in a long line. Good sized room for two and with an electric kettle.

We have just come to the end of a great week staying at the Royal National Hotel. We had a lovely room on the 5th floor and encountered very little noise. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis by the very happy and friendly cleaning staff. There is a tv in the rooms, ample space to hang clothes, and...

A break to London to see a show with the family is no cheap trip. Infact our two night stay cost more than a week in Portugal so it was with great care we selected our hotel and tickets package. Several sights kept throwing up the Royal National Hotel and superbreaks.com eventually beat everyone hands down with a great value...

I should have read TripAdvisor carefully before booking. We arrived to a hotel lobby full of tour groups (teens and young adults) and we are way older than that. The first night the noise from the courtyard below was so loud my white noise app couldn't drown it out. That lasted until about 1am. To the hotel's credit, when I...

The location of the hotel is not bad but the service is terrible. We ordered bed and breakfast for 2 and when we arrived we found a twin beds with a table in between so we couldn't even move them together. The cleaning was ok until the last day since we found a dirty towel left by the cleaners on...

So apparently when you book from the website you still book through an agent called Asda. I expected the breakfast to be an English breakfast. If you pay for bed and breakfast I dont expect to pay extra for an English breakfast. We wanted a room with one double bed they gaves a room with 2 single beds. They had...

Stayed only for one night, the room was fine and clean nice bathroom but it's a very big and busy hotel, fantastic location the reason I booked, staff where mainly friendly enough breakfast was ok but incredibly busy with lots and lots of people the Windsor breakfast room was very much like a canteen with long tables you had to...

Hotel is in a great location and we found it reasonably priced. Continental and cooked breakfast included. We had a triple room, it was clean and fairly comfortable. However, as mentioned in other reviews, our room was overlooking the inner courtyard and was incredibly noisy. Consequently we managed to get very little sleep.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
