This is a gorgeous hotel in the centre of London, right above Victoria station. Excellent location for getting around London. Room was clean with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, fridge, iron, ironing board etc. Did not hear much if any train noise considering its directly above the station. There is also an entrance right out of the station - very handy...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Our location here in Victoria station is second to none with pubic transport links right outside our doors. The side entrance allows really easy access and avoids the crowds on Buckingham Palace Road. I was delighted you loved our hotel and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Kind regards,...

This is an upscale, grand looking hotel that is centrally located in London, close to everything!! You can either walk or take public transportation to all the sights. The hotel staff are top notch & assisted us with every need & request (including delivering ice to our room every night for our drinks). There is a really neat bar on premises...

This hotel sits in an area of London that is within reach of some tourist spots. Victoria railway station and tube are nearby to add to the convenient location. The hotel is comfortably appointed and the staff are helpful and informative. If other hotels are as this one they would do themselves a favour. Well done Grosvenor Hotel!

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. I was pleased you enjoyed your afternoon tea experience with us but was disappointed that our service let us down. Our Head Chef, Sandeep, will certainly appreciate your comments on his food and I hope you were given a postcard on how to make our delicious scones. Watching the world go by in our...

Visited The Grosvenor Hotel for Afternoon Tea. The Lounge Area was well set out but would have preferred to sit up to a table rather than a low coffee table. Staff are friendly and helpfull The tea was excellent

I had a standard room which was very well appointed but was what could only be described as "attic bijou with a view of station platforms" and complex lift arrangements with long corridors to walk to find it. But it was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and a light supper in the bar was pretty good too with a...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Built in 1862, our hotel comprises two sections, the wing section which houses our standards rooms and the main building with our larger deluxe and executive rooms. Thanks for your comments on your breakfast and dining experience that I know our Head Chef, Sandeep and his team will enjoy. Our efficient team and I...

I want to give this a fair review so its average to good, yes it was expensive but the room was magnificent. The building works outside the window are not acceptable for the price - I have addressed this with the manager already. Not sure I would ever return, lots of steps, no porters, better suited to the corporate market.

The Grosvenor is a very pleasant hotel in an excellent location. It is attached to the Victoria station concourse which makes it excellent for tube and some rail travel. Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
