The staff at the Grosvenor Hotel were all really lovely. I flew into London pretty early so arrived at the hotel much earlier than the standard 3pm check-in. They didn't have any rooms available yet so I asked if there was a place I could freshen up. They allowed me to use their Lounge on the second floor to shower...

We flew into Gatwick airport and took the Gatwick Express right into Victoria Station. Very easy and convenient 30 minute ride and the hotel is right in the station. The lobby is lovely and classy and the rooms are clean and updated. It is walkable to Buckingham Palace and the underground is right there (Victoria line and Circle line). The...

We needed a room in London for an event we were attending on a Monday night and found the Grosvenor Hotel to be one of the least expensive. We have stayed there before and enjoy it's convenient location next to Victoria station. The hotel has an impressive foyer, and friendly check in staff. There's a nice cocktail bar which we...

Wonderful public spaces, great location and a small but well equipped gym, all for a reasonable price. The only slight let-down for us was a room facing the bus station. This led to night- time announcements occasionally disturbing an otherwise peaceful stay. However, still quieter than anticipated for a central hotel. Already planning to return!!!

The hotel is well furnished and centrally located. As it was our wedding anniversary, we were given complementary upgrade and free bottle of wine. We were made to feel special and staff were friendly and eager to please. Would recommend. Within walking distance of shops, theatres and transport links.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
