We have had fun, hectic week in London and central to that was the Grosvenor. It was our luxury retreat from the hustle and bustle. The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing was an effort. Our standard room was large, quiet and comfortable. Well located next to Victoria station (has its own entrance into the station) and easy walking to...

There is very strong focus on "old style" feeling, which is appreciated taking into the consideration location and building. Bigger than average rooms (in London scale), however train announcements from Victoria station are heard in the rooms - or at least on third level wing side bedrooms! Breakfast was average +. Reunion cocktail bar was pretty good with good service...

On a recent mother/daughter trip to London we were able to use credit card points to stay at this beautiful hotel. The entire experience was perfect. Front lobby reception staff were very warm and welcoming and the concierge was eager to help and proved to be quite good at his job! We stayed here for a few nights at the...

This is a proper grand hotel in Victoria. Great location with direct access to the train station , close to the coach station as well . Friendly staff. It's a bit expensive and the rooms a bit small. However overall definitely worthy of a visit .

The Grosvenor is a lovely hotel with a most hospitable staff. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. You can't beat the location. Steps away from Victoria Station and a nice walk to Buckingham Palace. The lounge is a great place to unwind and discuss the day's adventures. We are returning in August and I expect it to be just as...

The hotel is centrally located right next to Victoria station & close to Buckingham palace & Big Ben & Westminster. Good period features in the lobby & restaurant. The rooms are well appointed- not huge but a good size to London. Staff overall are helpful. Only exception would have to be concierge- there was a garden tea party at Buckingham...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
